Heart filled with Christmas Colors.... Christmas Combo 2

First of all , I’m sorry it took so long to post my other cards. I was having problems with my internet connection sadly… 

Christmas Combo 2! So what’s Christmas Combo??? Christmas Combo, is my special Christmas cards collection this season!

So this is second card I’m introducing , A love themed Christmas card.. you know for that special someone… however  this design is still appropriate to be sent to a family member as well. I have only included the greeting as “Merry Christmas”, hence it’s possible to add .. ‘my darling, mom or anything’

The design features tight rolls in Christmas combo colors, forming a huge heart! The photo makes the background heart color as yellow, sadly! It’s actually green ! hmm the cardstock used is of a dark green color, which was in my card-stock for a long time and I’m finally using it! I love that color now! The wordings are written in silver.

Card size is half A4.

Note: This is a readymade card.. So you can order it straight away! NO WAITING!!  

The greeting on the front can be changed as per your wish. Inside is left blank to your write your own message.

Red and pink with green..

Red, pink and soft green is the combo I used this time! I’m trying new color combos nowadays and this is what I ended up with! Two large flowers in the middle and with some swirls and leaves and tight rolls together made this pretty design! This is actually the largest card I’ve done so far. Half A4 size actually. So I had large space to do a design. I didn’t do a pop up this time cos I loved the red color card I used. The design was done on top of a cream color card.

Sorry guys I didn’t post anything in a long time… I have couple things that need to be posted but I’m actually turning into a couch potato nowadays.. hehe… I have become so lazy that the mere thought of getting out of the couch to do some quilling is not even possible. He he.. Then a dear friend and a regular customer called and asked for an anniversary card. And Finally I’m off the couch!! He he…

So she wanted a design involving two hearts, and gave me the freedom to do any design I like. It’s for her 7^th anniversary and then I realized that I did her 5^th and 6^th anniversary cards as well!  How fast time flies!!! Ah I’m completely out of track….Anyway back to the design!

The colors used here are bright pink and bright yellow which I think is amazing together! Just like the couple who are celebrating their anniversary.. he he… I’ve used stripes to create the illusion of two colors being mixed together. I think it worked pretty well. The pop up is a very simple one with the same colors. I love the idea of two tones!! I

That’s for now and I have some big projects that I’m doing recently.. will post them here once I’m done with them.. ASAP …

Quilled Pink Elephant

Hey folks !!! what’s brewing in the crafting world nowadays??? Sorry for being silent for a loooong time!!! I’ve been busy for some time…. Well anyway, I’m back!!

Lately I’ve been thinking about baby cards….and just as I was thinking that no one has asked me to do a baby card yet.. a call came from a friend requesting a birthday card for a little girl!!! For her 1^st birthday!! I was thrilled!!! However I’ve been brainstorming for ideas for 2 days… and here’s the result!!!

A pink elephant card!!! Yup! Who says elephants are supposed to be black anyway….. I chose the colors pink, yellow and white as the theme colors and animals were chose as the theme. When it comes to creating cards for kids forget the words elegance, glamour and complex art that no one understands!! LOL!! Yup, you can use lots of colors and lots of stuff on kids cards…. being simple doesn’t mean doing one elephant on a plain card!! You gotta add some stuff to it!! Remember you are making the card for the kid…not for the parents!!!

So, the patterned paper of yellow and white flowers on the front was actually created by me… using a plain yellow paper with hand cut small flowers… the pink polka dot ribbon with the elephant adds pink to the card.. The elephant is filled with bright pink open coils.. And if you were wondering what the yellow marquise doing there..That’s the long flappy ears of the elephant!! Hehe.. he’s holding 3 balloons, ‘cos the theme is animal-party thingy … 

The lettered buttons are actually made by me… The inside has a pop-up of a giraffe who seems to be enjoying the party a lot!  and huge gift ! the letters “happy” hangs too…cos this is where the party is!!! And the confetti seems to be just everywhere…hmm a happening party, I guess!!! Hehe. The message is covered with polka dots!

The padded envelope is pink and decorated with some flowers…

Graduation Card

For the first time I did a graduation card!! Well I got graduated lately, and so did my friends... So I did this for a friend actually... The color of the card is something that I have never used before.. which was sitting sadly with other cardstock....!1hehe So I decided that today is ur lucky day..brown card and idi something with that...!! finding the colors that goes with a color like this a little hard... Cos I can't have all the colors that I want to have !! hmm

it's a very simple design... no pop ups.. instead i did the greeting inside the card...well that;s it for today...!!

Thank you card in Blue and White

             Another design using the two tone idea!! Blue & white again! I’m kind of getting tired using blue and white now..hehe.. but that’s what the request was !! hehe..  Sorry about the photo though!! :((

 

The client who is a good friend of mine wanted a thank you card which was inspired from two tone birthday cards that I did earlier. HC019A

             A very simple design is done here using a butterfly, flower , heart and some spirals!! No pop up inside! The inscriptions were written using glitter blue color pen.  Padded envelope is provided for the protection of the quilled shapes!

Hello guys.. sorry for being so late to post something.. again!! I do have some designs that I did in January. Really sorry about the picture quality here.. it was a last minute order and I had to do it as fast as possible, and it was almost midnight that I finished it.. then I took the photos, coz I had to post it first thing in the morning! so the photos are not in good quality! Sorry! 

However, the design is done in blue and white, lots of people seems to be digging this two tone idea actually!!! I only managed to do blue & white color so far though! This was a spontaneous design, I didn’t actually draw a sketch or anything.. just worked it as I go along!!! J Turned out pretty though! The two letters, ‘ BB’ was a request from the client and as I didn’t have time to do a pop up, did the inscriptions inside. There was no room left on the front, as the design took whole space!!
